I was doodling in my sketchbook, periodically looking over some of my favorite websites. One is a webcomic called... you guessed it! Cleopatra in Space by Mike Miahack. It took a good part of the day to do, but it was a great test drive for me.
Found this post from your husband's tweet. I know: a little creepy. Sorry for that.
I adore your use of tone. Feels like a loose, whimsical marker sketch (I'm a sucker for markers). Your highlight across Cleo's nose bridge makes sure she's cute.
I am an illustrator, bookbinder, painter, doodler, list-maker, and wife. I love food. I am what can be categorized as a dabbler. I love trying new things, but I always come back around to art and illustration. I just can't help it.

Also the framing grabs the cave locale well.
Cheers!

Nice choice of colors and your style is really playful but not childish. Good work!
